MASTERING THROUGHPUT - MT - Course

This second level Tameflow course - Mastering Throughput (MT) - will provide you with additional tools to “tame” the friction that impedes your progress in order to focus improvement efforts. As a follow-on from the Mastering Flow (MF) course you will further learn how to produce outstanding bottom line performance improvements without the need to retrain, reskill, restructure or take on any new risks. More specifically, you will be introduced to new Kanban boards and gain more knowledge centered around throughput for making financial decisions without spending additional funds on increasing capacity.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The tools and techniques learned and practiced in the Mastering Throughput (MT) course are complementary to all frameworks and existing approaches. Your team will improve their delivery of value in a timelymanner, regardless of the context and applied practices, with a strong emphasis on the cultural context and mental models. The ideal trainees for the Mastering Flow class are:

  • Knowledge workers
  • Managers of knowledge work
  • Coaches, mentors and facilitators
  • Anyone else who is responsible for improving the delivery of a team’s products and services

Mastering Throughput (MT) is the second of two (2) courses required for the Certified Kanban Practitioner (CKP) certification and as such we strongly recommend trainees to have completed Mastering Flow (MT) or have the equivalent training and experience.
